Bill Young Memorial Foundation - Secretary
Greg is deeply honored to be asked to act as Secretary for the Foundation organized in Bill’s honor and to continue assisting with Bill’s desire to give back to the Community of Jeffersontown. Bill’s love and passion for Youth sports and for the entire Jtown community was well known, and the Foundation’s mission is to continue that passion.
Greg has been married to Melissa for 28 years, and they have 3 children, Ben (25), Sarah (22), and Maggie (20). Greg met Bill when his daughter, Maggie, started competing against Bill’s daughter, Sydney in grade school sports. They really struck up a strong friendship when Maggie and Syndey played travel softball against and then with one another. Finally, Greg’s daughters, Sarah and Maggie, played Assumption HS softball with Sydney where Greg and Bill religiously worked the scorer’s box for all Home games.
