About Us

The Bill Young Memorial Foundation was created by friends of the late Bill Young, who want to honor Bill by continuing his work in community service. Bill was deeply passionate about helping others, especially in Jeffersontown. The place where he lived, worked, and volunteered. He was a mentor, a coach, a Jeffersontown City Council member, and always a friend to anyone in need. Our mission is to spread Bill’s philanthropic spirit with the Jeffersontown community. Whether that is paying for a child's entry cost into a program at school, recreational activities, helping a neighbor who has been through an unexpected tragedy, or even helping a family at Christmas time to put presents under the tree and food on the table. Similar to Bill's generosity, our giving potential is limitless. If Bill were alive today, there is no doubt in our minds that Bill would be doing the same thing we are. The Bill Young Memorial Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization and 100% of all the proceeds will be donated back into the Jeffersontown community. All donations are tax-exempt and our Tax ID/501C3 is available upon request.
